Helium Comedy Club

Helium Comedy Club brings live stand-up comedy and other performance events to an intimate theater setting in Philadelphia. The venue presents nationally credited performers in a close, club-style environment rather than a large arena, giving audiences a focused setting for a night of comedy.

A typical show includes an opener, a feature performer and a headliner, with the full program generally running for about an hour and forty minutes. The calendar also includes special events, open-mic nights and comedy-related classes, giving the venue a broader role in the local performance scene. Programming can range from touring acts to themed showcases and competitions.

The showroom has a relaxed, cozy atmosphere and combines entertainment with food and drink service. The menu includes appetizers, entrees, desserts, craft beer and house cocktails. A two-item minimum applies in the showroom, so the club suits guests looking for a dinner-and-show format or a casual evening built around drinks and live performance. The facility is non-smoking.

Helium Comedy Club is a 21-and-over venue, making it a fit for adult nights out, date-night plans, comedy fans and groups marking a special occasion. Its group-events offering also supports larger gatherings, while the varied calendar gives repeat visitors different formats to explore. Guests interested in developing comedy skills can find educational programming alongside the regular performance schedule.

Tickets are tied to individual events, and the calendar is the best place to review upcoming performances and special programs. The club is located at 2031 Sansom Street, with the showroom, food service and live entertainment forming the central experience.
