Itinerary

Day 1: Boston to New York
Depart Boston in the morning and travel to New York City.
Activities include the mandatory New York City Fortune Tour (150 minutes) and an optional Liberty Cruise (60 minutes).
Accommodation options include Holiday Inn Newark International Airport, Crowne Plaza Newark Airport, Renaissance Newark Airport Hotel, APA Hotel Woodbridge, Crowne Plaza Edison, Embassy Suites by Hilton Piscataway Somerset, or similar hotels.

Day 2: New York to Philadelphia and Washington D.C.
Travel from New York to Philadelphia, then proceed to Washington D.C., the U.S. capital.
Stops include Independence National Historical Park (30 minutes) in Philadelphia.
In Washington D.C., the optional U.S. Capitol In-depth Tour includes inside visits to the U.S. Capitol and The National Archives, plus outside visits to the Supreme Court and Library of Congress (120 minutes).
Additional stops include the White House (outside, 30 minutes) and the Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Memorial, and Vietnam Veterans Memorial (45 minutes).
If U.S. Capitol access is unavailable, the Washington D.C. In-depth Tour (optional) visits the Air Force Memorial (20 minutes), Thomas Jefferson Memorial (20 minutes), and World War II Memorial (20 minutes).
Hotels include Springhill Suites Gaithersburg, Comfort Inn Shady Grove - Gaithersburg - Rockville, or similar.

Day 3: Washington D.C. to Corning, Watkins Glen, and Niagara Falls
Visit the Corning Museum of Glass (optional, 90 minutes) and Watkins Glen State Park plus Finger Lake (optional, 90 minutes). Note that Watkins Glen State Park operates seasonally from April to October.
The evening features a mandatory Niagara Falls Night View In-depth Tour (90 minutes), with a guaranteed fireworks display when available.
Accommodation options include Sleep Inn Amherst, The Garden Place Hotel, Lockport Hotel, or similar.

Day 4: Niagara Falls to Boston
The summer itinerary (when Maid of the Mist operates) includes the Niagara Falls Classic Tour (optional, 2.5 hours) covering Whirlpool Park, Cave of the Winds, and Maid of the Mist boat ride.
The winter itinerary (when Maid of the Mist closes) includes the same tour with Old Fort Niagara State Park replacing Maid of the Mist.
Return to Boston thereafter.
Note Maid of the Mist closes seasonally in winter and is excluded during closure.
