Description
Day 1: New York – Philadelphia – Washington DC
Visit Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. Continue to Washington DC for a comprehensive city tour including the White House, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Tidal Basin, Air Force Memorial, and a drive-by of the Pentagon. Take a Congress tour inside the U.S. Capitol, and view the Supreme Court, The National Archives, and the Senate from outside.
Day 2: Washington DC – Corning Museum – Buffalo – Niagara Falls
Visit the Corning Glass Center, then arrive in Buffalo, known for the Erie Canal and proximity to Niagara Falls. Climb the observation tower to view the Great Lakes. Experience the Cave of the Winds wooden walkway (open until October 20). At night, take an excursion to Goat Island for a view of the illuminated falls, followed by a visit to Luna Island.
Day 3: Niagara Falls – New York
In the morning, admire Whirlpool Park and the Niagara Gorge. Optional activities include the Niagara Hot Air Balloon Adventure at dawn and the Maid of the Mist boat tour. After lunch in Niagara Falls, return to the original departure point by 8 PM.
