Description

This three-day East Coast escape from New York combines American history, iconic landmarks, and natural wonders with two nights’ accommodation and round-trip transport included.

Day 1: Travel south to Philadelphia’s Independence National Historical Park, known as 'the most historic square mile in America.' Then continue to Washington, D.C., with an optional in-depth tour of the U.S. Capitol and the National Archives, housing the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights. See outside views of the Supreme Court and Library of Congress, photo stops at the White House, and visit the Lincoln Memorial and Vietnam Veterans Memorial before checking into the hotel.

Day 2: Head north toward Niagara Falls with optional visits to the Corning Museum of Glass and, seasonally, Watkins Glen State Park’s gorge trails and waterfalls. Arrive in Niagara by evening for a mandatory night tour covering Goat Island, Luna Island, and the illuminated Horseshoe, Bridal Veil, and American Falls. Fireworks may be included depending on schedule. Overnight accommodation is near the falls.

Day 3: Choose an optional Classic Tour visiting Whirlpool Park, Cave of the Winds, and depending on season, the Maid of the Mist boat ride (summer) or Old Fort Niagara State Park (winter), before returning to New York.

    Note: Watkins Glen and Finger Lakes stop runs seasonally from May to October.
