Description

This two-day journey starts in New York City and travels south to Philadelphia, the recognized birthplace of American independence. Visitors explore Independence National Historical Park, home to key sites where the nation’s founding debates and decisions occurred, set amidst preserved historic streets and architecture.

From Philadelphia, the tour continues to Washington D.C., a city known for its broad avenues, monuments, and neoclassical buildings that symbolize the nation’s political system.

Guests can upgrade to an in-depth experience inside the U.S. Capitol and the National Archives. The Capitol tour includes viewing the chambers where U.S. laws are debated and passed. The National Archives houses founding documents like the Declaration of Independence and Constitution. The tour also features outside views of the Supreme Court and the Library of Congress.

The day includes an outside visit to the White House, the president’s official residence and workplace.

On the second day, the tour focuses on Washington D.C.’s memorials, including the Lincoln Memorial and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The experience concludes with a guided exploration highlighting the design, symbolism, and stories behind Washington’s landmarks before returning to New York City.
