Penn's Yacht Dining
Philadelphia
At a glance
Penn’s Yacht Dining brings a private dining format to Philadelphia’s Delaware River waterfront, with meals served aboard a yacht rather than in a conventional restaurant. The experience is designed around a small number of guests, creating a quiet, personal setting for a meal with skyline views and attentive hospitality.
Each cruise centers on a chef-prepared five-course menu built with seasonal ingredients. The cooking reflects Southeast Asian influences, with layered flavors, fresh herbs, aromatic sauces, seafood, slow-cooked meat and rice-based accompaniments appearing across the menu. Dessert follows the savory courses, with tea and coffee completing the meal.
The yacht accommodates a maximum of six guests per seating, making the format suited to intimate celebrations, client entertainment and relaxed gatherings among friends. The limited-capacity arrangement also gives the meal a hosted, occasion-focused character, with professional service handling the flow of the evening while guests manage their own beverage choices.
Dining cruises run on scheduled Wednesday and Thursday evenings, with two seatings available each night. The first seating runs from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., followed by a second from 8:30 to 10:00 p.m. Because the experience is structured around a small private group, reservations form an important part of the visit rather than a casual drop-in meal.
The yacht is located at Penn’s Landing Marina, near the Seaport Museum and the Hilton at Penn’s Landing. Arrival involves following the river walkway to the marina gate, where venue staff direct guests to the boat. The setting makes the experience especially appropriate for diners seeking a planned evening with a waterside atmosphere, a multi-course menu and a more personal alternative to a standard restaurant reservation.
